So once again the domperidone for my nausea has given me a day of intractable hiccoughs. I managed to chase them away for the radiation visit at least as that may have complicated the breathing tolerance window they calculate
Back in the chemo room this afternoon. Quiet day as New year and a few of us only in the room.
Interesting staffing mix . Seems many of the radiation staff are Irish and here in chemo a predominance of Phillipino or other Asian.
Brendan returned this afternoon with Kate and Jessye and they did a trip around winter gardens whilst waiting finish of chemo. We had a afternoon recuperative nap
So we are now into the single numbers of days of treatment . I have been adding days in blog and Renene has been counting down on her posts and she tells me tomorrow is day 9 and so counting down yipee !!
Only disadvantage today - still have hiccoughs and it is nearly 22h00 and time to sleep. Renene feels like she is on a waka on turbulent seas
A day to celebrate 1st January 2020 and new beginnings represented by the flight of the butterflies and at the same time remember my beautiful mother whose Parkinson’s gave her her “ flutter by” hand and collection of butterflies in her room. Miss you Marjel, and the opportunities we had planned for 2020. Hope you and Bill are flying high as the Hawk and the butterfly keeping watchful eyes on all of us down here .

We then went out for the first “ burger” I have eaten in ages and it wasn’t Macdonalds
