Day 8 - “Oh my giddy head”!!!

“Oh my giddy head”!!! This medicine makes me feel yuk. But the environs we live and walk in are therapy derived from nature and god and are rehabilitation in themselves. Blessed to be able to walk the Auckland Domain, smell and touch real New Zealand bush and walk on grass and wonder at the vastness and diversity of the world and what it produces. Respect for history and artists of varying cultures and styles.

Winter gardens show the diversity of nature’s wealth and innovation

Day 8- First week and first session of chemo done and dusted!  A walk in the forest on the way back to the lodge and feet up for the rest of the day and maybe night!

Glad not to have the Cisplatin and Etoposide for another 3 weeks!  Just radiation to face daily ...
Meds have hammered me more today. Very fatigued and a bit wobbly. Restless a bit. No appetite really. soup and toast and not much effort tonight I think.

Good news from radiation tech today that he did not believe I would suffer or see much skin burn compared to what people suffer when radiated for breast for example . Just obviously future sunburn care will be essential.
